DMOR Productions was started in 1995 as a studio to write songs for the owner, Dan Morton. Dan is currently the owner of DMOR Music Group and former minister of music at Mountain Spring Baptist Church and has been playing musical instruments since the age of 5 years old. Over the years the talents stretched into being able to play 5 instruments. In the early 60s he formed his rest band called “The Ravens” where the band was successful in playing for many engagements throughout South Carolina and Georgia. Throughout the late 60s, Dan’s playing followed him through Vietnam, where as an enlisted soldier, he was able to play in a band for the entertainment of his fellow troops. While playing in the 70’s in Columbus, Georgia, opportunities arose for him and the members of his band called “The Sensations” to play on stage with members of the James Brown Band, open for Clarence Carter and play on the same stages where the Commodores played in Alabama. In1989, Dan ‘s Washington DC performance of “History Of A Black Man” gained national recognition in the OPM (Office Of Personnel Management) Bulletin and has received church recognition for dedication as the minister of music.

As we searched for ways to make recordings of our music we noticed a lack in availability of quality, affordable music studios. To all this need we have established DMOR Productions, LLC and ultimately DMOR Music Group. Thus far, we have worked with many artists. Our writing style is very diverse, but the concentration is on Gospel and instrumentals. To DMOR’s credit are four CD’s – “Walk In The Light Now”, “He’ll Make It Alright”, “Judgment”, “Future Shock” and “Perculatin.” Our goals are to assist artists and provide access to those who want to be part of the music industry. Currently our studio produces demo CD’s, CD projects, and a host of studio music productions and is capable of delivering a complete product from start to finish. DMOR Productions is also looking for artists interested in music collaboration and will be releasing other CD’s in the near future.
